Barrel Delivery + Tapas

Our Rewine barrels were delivered to Steve’s place, and we went out for tapas. It sure is nice that Rewine is able to deliver. They had a big delivery to do that was further than Battle Ground, so they were able to drop our measly little order of four barrels off on the way. You can see the marks of the original cooperage on the barrels and the branding of the wineries that used them. Rewine makes its own mark with their name, the month and year they refurbished them, and the toasting level. M+ means that one is toasted medium-plus, a bit heavier toast than a medium.

We went to a Spanish tapas and wine bar in Battle Ground called Emanar Cellars. It’s one of his mom’s favorite places. She used to come here and sing karaoke and dance. We each had a flight of wines we chose, and we ordered a bunch of tapas. It was a great time.
